Summer Haze
The print “Summer Haze” is a scene from the top of Bolinas Ridge overlooking the pacific Ocean in Marin County, California during a summer fog cover. The fog dilutes the light making the ridgelines free of shadows while the ocean and horizon is obscured from view. Some of the sun's light penetrates the clouds causing a few sun spots to appear on the ridges and slowly move along their slopes. There is a trail that makes its way down to the coast, but in the distance, you can already hear the faint sound of the waves crashing on the beach.
