From the original painting, "Moon above a Blanket of Fog" is a print showing a scene from Bolinas Ridge in Marin County, California. For me, as an artist, Bolinas Ridge has always been a magical place to paint because of it's unique climates. In this image, the view is looking to the south as a massive fog bank consumes the Bay Area. While we're above the fog, on the ridge in the warm summer sun, the moon makes its way across the sky ever so slowly, watching the dance of the fog.
