Late Summer Ballet
The print “Late Summer Ballet” is a painting of Bolinas Ridge in Marin County in the summer as an impressive fog bank made its way up the ridge and started pouring over the hill side causing a cascade of fog to flow down the other side. As it cascaded down the back of the ridge, it flowed in to the shadow of the ridge as it mingled with the trees and ran down into the valley below. As the fog pushed on, the sun's light penetrated though the translucent mist causing it to become luminescent.
