The Ink Wells

The Ink Wells

This is a print of the original painting "The Ink Wells". The Ink Wells are two deep natural pools in Lagunitas Creek, in Marin County, California. Lagunitas Creek is also known for having Marins largest salmon run in the late fall or after the first big rain. I painted this in late fall after the first rains had fallen and if you look you might notice some salmon in the still waters saving their strength to make the move up the strong currents of the cascading water.
