The Rock Circle
The print “The Rock Circle” is a scene from Bolinas Ridge in Marin County, California depicting the last moments of the sunset in the late summer. With the sun low on the horizon and the fog and clouds glowing from the low-lying filtered sun, the last light dances across the ridgelines illuminating the cusp of the hilltops. The rocks in the circle almost seem to be watching the dramatic scene as if they have been for a millennium.
