West Marin Glow
The print "West Marin Glow" is a reproduction from the original painting that is a scene looking across the Marin hills during a late summer sunset. When I painted this scene, there was a thick haze in the air and as the sun's light moved lower on the horizon the atmosphere started to glow, creating an illumination of filtered light that caused the hills to glow. Even the shadows were not immune to this radiance as the sun's light was liberated throughout the landscape.
