"Yosemite Valley" is a print made from the original painting of an iconic scene from the valley's lookout. The setting of this image takes place in the morning, when the spring sun is shining bright upon the great granite wall of El Capitan and across the valley the shadows continue to recede back towards Bridalveil Falls as the falls wait their turn to be basked in the midday sun. In the distance, Half Dome overlooks the valley with the last bit of winter's snow melting away, soon to join the mighty Merced River.
